Built in 1838, the villa was a society meeting point of its time. In 1990 it was renovated with love and care, then again twice in 2006. The suites are furnished with exquisite antiques from the days of its greatness and equipped with modern comfort. Located in the center of Bad Gastein, right by the Casino, the Villa Solitude enjoys a breathtaking view of the waterfall and the skyline of Bad Gastein.

The Lutter & Wegner bad Gastein is the first branch of the reowned berlin wine house which was founded in 1811. The restaurant Lutter & Wegner is located in the vaults of the villa Solitude, beautifully overlooking the Bad Gastein waterfall. The restaurant offers its guests in old tradition an outstanding veriety of wines and a daily changing menu of local cuisine.

from Munich approx. 2 hours

from Salzburg approx. 1 hour:
South on the Tauern Autobahn (motorway) to Bischofshofen, Gasteinertal exit, then highway B 167 to the Gastein Valley.

from Innsbruck approx. 2 hours:
Autobahn via Wörgl, highway B 312 via St.Johann/Tirol to Lofer, B 311 via Zell am See to Lend, B 167 to Gastein or on the autobahn via Kufstein - Salzburg - Villach, Gasteinertal exit, B 167 to the Gastein Valley.

Coming from the south, drive via Villach, Möllbrücke and Obervellach to Mallnitz, at which point you will be able to enjoy the convenience of motorail service to Gastein - Timetable of Autoschleuse Tauernbahn

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 70 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 1 day before date of arrival, 90 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
