Old and new in harmony. The stylistic influences of different eras - from Rococo, to Art Nouveau, to contemporary - ensures an exclusive atmosphere and makes every room a unique little jewel.

We create packages to suit all kinds of tastes and occasions, such as weddings, meetings, romantic evenings or a birthday surprise.

For meetings of up to 8 people, we can offer - as an example - one of our unique suites with its own very special flair. Our "wedding suite" is ideal for a wedding or romantic evening.

Room information

Hotel zum Dom boasts 29 rooms, ranging from a single room to large suite. Each is equipped with shower, steam shower or whirlpool and is individually furnished, appealing to those with an eye for ambition and sophistication.

Our 2 large suites (the "wedding suite", 100m²; the "business suite" 120m²) are situated on the top floor and exhibit special flair. Both of them offer 2 bedrooms, one spacious living room and, finally, one and 2 bathrooms respectively. As a special highlight both suites offer a roof terrace with a whirlpool.

Nearly all of our rooms are equipped with air conditioning. We also offer a selection of non smoking rooms. After booking, please inform us at the hotel about all your wishes and desires and we will do our best to fulfil them.

Food and beverages

Our breakfast buffet and our vinery 'Cinque' are all on hand to take care of all your gastronomic wants and needs.

The vinery 'Cinque', which is also within the hotel, offers an excellent 'antipasti plate' and a wide range of exclusive wines. Here you can simply relax and review your day in Graz.

Tourists information

By car:
From Vienna or Carinthia:
- Proceed on the A2 south.
- Leave via the “Graz – Ost” exit.
- Follow the “Münzgrabenstraße“ and turn to the right into "Grazbachgasse“. - Turn right again into "Sparbersbachgasse“.
- Turn left into “Mandellstraße” and follow this street, where you will pass the opera house and go straight over a big crossing (opera house is on the left hand side of the crossing).
- Go straight ahead until you can no further forward and turn left into the small lane called “Salzamtsgasse”.
- At the end of this lane turn right and then you will see the Hotel zum Dom on the left hand side, at Bürgergasse 14.

From Salzburg:
- From the A9, leave via the “Graz – Nord” exit.
- Follow the main street called "Wienerstraße“ until you reach a big crossing.
- Go straight ahead onto “Bahnhofgürtel” and you will see the railway station on your right hand side, at the next crossing.
- At this crossing turn left into “Keplerstraße” and follow this lane, crossing the river “Mur”.
- Here you will see the Schlossberg (a wooden hill). Continue straight ahead until you reach a crossing where you can go no further forward.
- Turn right at this crossing (passing a park) until you reach a crossing with a main street called “Glacisstraße”.
- Turn right into “Künstlerhaus”.
- Turn into “Wilhelm – Fischer – Allee” (an alley crossing the park) and turn right at the next crossing into “Erzherzog Johann Allee”.
- Continue straight ahead, passing the gates through the old city wall.
- Turn left immediately after the gates (before the cathedral).
- Take the 2nd lane on the right (“Salzamtsgasse”) and follow until you reach “Bürgerggasse”.
- Here you will find our hotel on the left hand side, at Bürgergasse 14.

Remarks

Please note that the reception is open Monday to Saturday from 07:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and 08:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Sundays. Should you arrive outside these hours, please e-mail or phone the hotel in advance. In addition, please note that the cancellation policy may differ for long-term guests.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 5 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
City/tourist tax is included.

Internet: Internet via modem is available in public areas only and is free of charge.
Internet via modem is available in the hotel rooms only and charges are applicable.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.

Parking: Private parking is possible on streets nearby and costs EUR 12.00 per day.

Pets: Pets are allowed on request. No extra charges.
