All the hotel's rooms have an appropriately Alpine feel, blending traditional touches with modern furnishings. Rooms are decorated in light, earthy shades and greens and have wicker and wooden furnishings and carpeted floors.

Food and beverages

Alpenhotel Amalienburg welcomes you with a delicious cocktail and offers a rich breakfast buffet with whole grain products every morning from 07:30. On Sundays a sparkling-wine breakfast is served. Enjoy an Après ski snack in the afternoon or indulge in a 4-course dinner, including a salad buffet or theme buffet, from 19:00 onwards. Once a week, the kitchen staff invites you to a romantic candle light dinner.

Area information

Saalbach Hinterglemm Ski Circus (0.1 km) - this skiers' paradise, the largest ski circus in Austria, offers you 200 km of slopes (suitable for novices and the most advanced skier), 55 modern ski lifts and a floodlit slope, charming by night. There are also half pipes, a toboggan run and plenty of opportunities for freestyle skiing at this winter sports centre.

Tourists information

From Salzburg Airport (SZG):
A 'Holiday Shuttle' bus departs from the airport, outside terminal 1, 5 times a day throughout the year to Saalbach Hinterglemm.
Prices: One way: EUR 35 per person. Roundtrip: EUR 65 per person.
Reservations are required.

Cancellation policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 90 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, 40 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 70 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 90 percent of all nights will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children older than 12 years are welcome.
Up to two children or adults are charged 80 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.
