Our guesthouse, close to the lake "Hallstättersee" (300 m), is centrally located in the heart of Salzkammergut, ideal for walking, trekking, biking and other excursions. This lovely and cosy guesthouse has a long tradition: it was already appreciated more than 100 years ago by guests travelling with stagecoaches. Today, the completely renovated guestrooms accomodate all visitors, arriving by car, bike, motorbike or on foot.

Our cosy Single and Double Rooms guarantee, besides the beautiful landscape of the Salzkammergut and a friendly service, a relaxing stay for both young and old.
Most of the rooms provide either a balcony or a terrace for those who prefer to enjoy the fantastic panorama or the sunset.

You couldn´t start the day any better than with our delicious breakfast.

Thanks to the centrally located elevator, all rooms are easily accessible with a wheel-chair.

Excursions
Numerous trips are available for those interested in nature and culture. Visit the Koppenprüllerhöhle (cave), travel with an aerial ropeway to the enormous roof stone and ice caves. The giant cave is a worth a visit as it is one of the most fascinating natural wonders of the Alps. The museums and the salt mines, archaeological excavations and boat trips promise unforgettable holidays.

Trekking in the environment of Salzkammergut means experiencing the beauty of this unique landscape. You will find impressing colours, smells and get unforgettable snapshots. The fascinating mountains and the lake districts open infinite possibilities to experience new sights.

In this region you can find thousands of years old culture and scenic beauty. Already 7000 years ago this extraordinary small spot was inhabited. There are numerous findings from prehistoric time such as the "Hallstattzeit". Many artists and prominent personalities spend their holidays in our lake district.

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

Children and Extra Bed Policy: All children are welcome.
All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
All children under 2 years are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for cots.
All older children or adults are charged EUR 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.
Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.

Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged.

VAT and city/tourist taxes: VAT is included.
Service charge is included.
EUR 1.30 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included.

Internet: Internet via modem is available in the hotel rooms only and is free of charge.

Meal Plan: Buffet breakfast is not included and costs EUR 8.50 per person.
